The Portulaca Succulent

-

A stunning vibrant plant, the Portulaca is a hardy drought tolerant plant that needs very little care. These beauties will brighten up your garden or pot displays. The beauty of these is you can break pieces off and plant them straight into dirt and before too long you would have created another beautiful display. They come in pink, red, yellow, white, orange and red. Some varieties have a cross of two colours! The flowers last most of the year and are extremely hardy. The flowers close up in the evening and spring up to life in the day, enjoying the sunshine. They do well in the ground, in rockeries, but I like mine in pots, that way I can move them around the garden to enjoy them at every angle!
